Camp 2009
This year's camp will be at the spacious indoor and outdoor grounds of
St. Francis Friary. There will be two indoor facilities: School House and the Summer House.
In the School House (white house, seen on Todt Hill):
- Progressive Italian lessons will be conducted
- Interactive play, music, dance, story time, puppetry, group games and baking
- The school house is Total Italian Immersion
- Air-conditioned facility
In the Summer House (charming house seen in the back of the Friary):
- Arts and crafts
- Bilingual encouragement and review
St. Francis Friary provides students with spacious greenery and beautiful private grounds. Children will play bilingual games and enjoy picnics outdoors.
Italian Academy Language School is approved by the Italian American Committee on Education. Instructors are qualified IACE teachers.
Schedule:
Camp Program I: Ages 5 - 6yrs
10:00am - 12:00pm: Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday
Two week program: July 13th - July 23rd
Three week program:
July 13th - July 30th
Four week program: July 13th - August 6th
*the week of July 6th - July 9th may be operational
Tuition is $140.00; snack and beverage included.
$15 registration fee per family - (current IA students)
$25 registration fee per family - (new students)
Camp Program II: Ages 7 - 12yrs
Monday through Thursday
Classes will run from July 13th - August 6th
*the option of week July 6th- July 9th may be available
1 week, 2 week, 3 week and 4 week options available.
