Care giver and baby learn Italian in a relaxed and soothing environment. Classes are kept small to promote a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Classes are 45min once a week for 8 weeks and are taught by qualified instructors. Care givers are relaxed and encouraged to release their inhibitions and learn in a nurturing playful environment with baby. Visual and auditory methodology is used through various play activities. Age requirement 15months-3yrs.
Play Learning Groups
Our Play learning groups are a series of progressive one hour a week 12 week sessions. Classes are taught exclusively in Italian.
Our classes introduce the foreign language naturally. Your child will absorb the language by listening, watching and finally at their own pace speaking. The way a baby was taught to speak their native language they learn a foreign language. Naturally.
Our small classes are grouped according to age and ability. Our classes promote conversation with an interactive approach using songs, story telling, rhyming poems, role playing and dance. Learning through Play is achieved through various manipulative tools such as puppets, arts and crafts instruments, toys and games.
Classes are Customized as children progress those classes will not be advertised or seen on the registration form. They are only open to those children who have advanced in series.
Children will be learning in a class of 6-10 students depending on the program. Classes are kept small to provide interaction from each participant. Each class is provided with a qualified instructor and assistant. The lesson is taught exclusively in Italian. Our small classes provide maximum participation and socialization between teacher and child and children with one another.
The classroom environment is structural yet the atmosphere is relaxed and nurturing. Vocabulary, sentence structure and pronunciation is reinforced using visual and auditory methodology. Children will be immersed, surrounded by the Italian language. Though various age appropriate Play activities children are engaged and stimulated, they are kept interested and are having fun. Through play children unlike adults will interact without inhibitions.
