The Italian American Committee on Education offered a two-week Scholarship Summer Program in Italy to all of its collaborating centers. The Italian Academy, which is a IACE center, extended this wonderful program to two of it’s most dedicated students.

The Italian American Committee on Education
chose two of it’s most dedicated instructors, Michel Scibetta–Nicolo (Director of the Italian Academy) and Professor Alfred Valentini, to teach the summer program and guide the 20 selected scholars in a memorable experience.

The 2008 Scholarship Summer Program had daily lessons in Italian language and then toured Firenze, Fiesole, Siena, Pisa, Maranello, Venezia and Lignano Sabbiadoro. (The organization covered all costs of the stay, including Room and board, Italian Classes and recreational activities.)
