Apply via the Online Application Form and complete payment of the Application Fee (€60).
Application Deadlines
- Deadline for International Foundation Program (6 months – January 2024 start ):
- 1st round: Sept 30th, 2023
- 2nd round: November 30th, 2023
- 3rd round: December 20th, 2023 (EU students only)
- Deadline for International Foundation Program (9 months – September 2024 start):
- 1st round: May 26th, 2024
- 2nd round: July 28th, 2024
- 3rd round: August 30th, 2024 (EU students only)
- Deadline for Admission Test Preparation Course (Session I – May & June): March 30th
- Deadline for Admission Test Preparation Course (Session II – July & August): June 15th
- Academic Italian Courses: rolling admissions
Admission Pre-requisites
- Must have completed at least 11 years of schooling (from primary school to high school diploma) and have obtained a high school diploma (final certification) accompanied by a transcript or report card of the last year.

- An official translation should be provided for original documents that are not in English, Italian, French, Spanish or Portuguese.
- if student is still studying at the time of application, they can submit the diploma at a later stage)

- Must have obtained an intermediate level English language certification (min. IELTS 5.5, Cambridge Preliminary, or equivalent). Native English speakers and students who have completed their secondary education in English are exempt (in this case, a remote oral competence test is required).
- Must be between 17 and 30 years old by the start of the program.

- For minor students, a legal guardian is required. During the enrollment process, it is necessary to fill out and send via email to admissions@theitalianacademy.com a form confirming that the student will turn 18 by the end of the program.

Receive the Letter of Offer & Program Agreement Form
You will receive the Letter of Offer and the Program Agreement Form within 48 hours (NB. these documents are not valid for Visa purposes, students require the Letter of Enrollment for visa applications).
Once you receive the Program Agreement Form, sign and return it to admissions@theitalianacademy.com
Program Enrollment & Visa Application
Complete payment of the Service Fee, 1st Installment of Tuition Fees and Housing Fees. Details for payments are found in the Program Agreement form.
Visa application (non-EU students)
Upon payment receipt, you will receive the Letter of Enrollment and Letter of Hospitality, which are valid for your visa application. If needed, our admission team will guide your through the process.
Pre-arrival
Read through the Pre-Arrival Guide that our admissions team will send you and get ready for the Orientation week of social and cultural activities!

SERVICE FEE
All students are required to complete payment of € 290 upon enrollment to the program.
Service Fee includes:
- Access to online learning platform, textbooks and learning materials
- Enrollment in CILS exam for IFP students

- Orientation upon arrival including city-tour and health & safety orientation
