Our chef meets you at the academy, then you head to the local Ortigia market to pick the freshest seasonal ingredients and hear stories about the Greek and Arabic influences that shaped Sicilian cuisine.
The class is designed for all skill levels and includes plenty of time to taste your creations and practice food-related Italian vocabulary.
Fresh seafood, local cheeses and Etna-grown vegetables become part of the lesson. Along the way, your guide explains how volcanic soil creates the unique sweetness of local produce.

Our Italian language classes take place in small groups so you can speak from day one. Lessons in the morning prepare you for the kitchen: your teachers help you rehearse practical phrases for shopping and cooking.
