A clear application process, from form to arrival.
The process is designed to guide students from the first online application to enrollment, visa documentation and pre-arrival preparation.

- International Foundation Program, 9 months – September 2026 start.
- 1st round: April 30th, 2026
- 2nd round: June 30th, 2026
- Rolling admissions until August 30th for EU students only, based on availability.
- Academic Italian Courses: rolling admissions.
- January Intake: January 2027 to September 2027.
Admission pre-requisites
- Valid passport, main pages only.
- Final high school diploma translated into Italian or English.
- Transcript of records or provisional grades certificate.
- English language certificate demonstrating B2 level.
- IELTS Academic: 5.5 - 6.5 (no element below 5.5)
- Cambridge Scale: 160+ points
- Duolingo English Test: 100+ points
- TOEFL iBT: 4.0 – 4.5 (min. 4.0 in each section) or 72+ points for tests before. January 2026.

Receive your Letter of Offer.
You will receive the Letter of Offer and the Program Agreement Form within 48 hours. These documents are not valid for visa purposes: students require the Letter of Enrollment for visa applications.

- Sign the Program Agreement Form.
- Return it to admissions@theitalianacademy.com.
- Prepare the next payment step for enrollment.
Complete enrollment and visa application.
Complete payment of the Enrollment Fee, 1st Installment of Tuition Fees and Housing Fees. Payment details are found in the Program Agreement form.
September 2026 intake
- Application Fee: €60 due at the time of application.
- Enrollment Fee: €400.
- Refundable Housing Deposit: €450.
- Full Tuition Fee: €7,500.
- Housing Fee, Double Room: €4,180.
- Single Room Supplement: +€1,520, subject to availability.
Payment schedule
- 1st Installment: due within 7 days from the receipt of the Offer Letter.
- 2nd Installment: due by July 10, 2026.
- 3rd Installment: due by September 17, 2026.
- 4th Installment: due by December 5, 2026.
- Non-EU students receive visa documentation after payment receipt.
- Pre-arrival guide is sent before Orientation week.

Start in September or January | 900 hours €7,500- Italian Language: A0 to B1/B2 level, 600 academic hours.
- Curricular Foundation Courses, track-specific, 300 academic hours.
- Academic Mentoring and Admission Counseling.
- Extracurricular: Cultural & Social Activities, sports clubs, volunteering.
12 Months
Start in September | 1100 hours €8,900- Italian Language: A0 to B2 level, 800 academic hours.
- Curricular Foundation Courses, track-specific, 300 academic hours.
- Academic Mentoring and Admission Counseling.
- Extracurricular: Cultural & Social Activities, sports clubs, volunteering.
