Start your nautical stayFrom the Port to the Horizon, step by step.
Our skipper meets you at the small port of Ortigia. We set sail on a comfortable vessel to circumnavigate the historic island, passing under the Maniace Castle and exploring the sea caves of the coastline.
You will learn the basics of sailing, hear legends of ancient naval battles, and enjoy a traditional aperitivo on board as the sun dips below the horizon. The tour is designed for all levels and includes pauses to swim in crystal-clear waters and practice Italian vocabulary.

Our Italian language classes take place in small groups so you can speak from day one. Lessons in the morning prepare you for what you will experience on the boat, and your teachers help you rehearse practical phrases for the excursion.
You will learn words for sails (vele), waves (onde), sunset (tramonto), and toast (brindisi), then use them while exploring the coast with your group.
